  • Smoking:

    The smoke emitted from cigarette is damaging to your skin. It provokes wrinkles and causes skin dryness. Smoking causes the depletion of vitamin C in the body. Vitamin C is important for maintaining moisture and suppleness within the skin. So, stop smoking in order to prevent damage to your skin.

  • Sun exposure:

    Sun exposure is the second most important reason for wrinkles development. The sun’s rays cause the depletion of elastin and collagen in the body. The skin becomes dry, leathery and spots appear on the skin. However, you can avoid sun damage by protecting yourself from sun’s rays. Try to apply a sunscreen, wear hats and sun glasses when out in the sun.

  • Avoid taking excess of alcohol:

    Alcohol intake leads to constriction of blood vessels and increases blood flow near the skin surface. As rate of blood flow is increased, the blood vessels become damaged and break. Thereby, leading to aging skin.

  • Stress:

    Avoid stress, as excessive stress shows off on your face and affects the skin muscles. So see to that you change your facial expressions throughout the day. Follow a good anti aging program. Try to do yoga, meditation and exercises in order to relax yourself.

  • Avoid Cold Weather:

    Low temperature and cold weather will cause skin aging by provoking skin drying. So, in order to prevent skin drying try to apply a moisturizer. Moisturizer helps in maintaining a well hydrated skin.

  • Lack of exercises:

    Exercises play a prominent role in maintaining good skin. They aid in maintaining proper muscle tone and circulation in the body. Hence, they should included in our skin care routine for healthy skin.
