How to Avoid Getting Wrinkles

Wrinkles occur naturally as we age and they increase as the person gets older. Especially for women, it becomes a problem to remove. Wrinkles mainly in the region of neck and face does not look good. There are several ways to avoid getting wrinkles.

One of the best ways to fight wrinkles is to take care of your skin before you get the wrinkles. Some changes in the diet plan and a few behavioral changes can delay the occurrence of wrinkles. Some of the simple remedies to avoid getting wrinkles are discussed in this article.

Some important ways to avoid getting wrinkles are as follows:

  • Drink Plenty of Water

    – It is one of the most important ways to avoid wrinkles. It provides hydration to the skin. Dryness makes the wrinkles worst. Hence, water should be taken in excess amounts daily. Green tea and fresh fruit juices also work great for the skin which provide required vitamins to the skin epidermis. Beverages like tea, coffee and alcohol should be avoided or taken in moderate amounts as they burn the water content in the body. Alcohol reduces the collagen content around the eyes and leads to wrinkles around eyes and makes it swollen.

  • Antioxidant Fruits

    – Fruits such as grapes and other berries are rich in anti-oxidant along with plenty of vitamins and minerals for the skin. Vitamin C in found in large amounts and it helps fight free radicals damage. It helps provide strength to the collagen. At least 2 servings of organically grown berries and grapes should be taken per day. Pomegranate and red grape juices are also the best for skin.

  • Eat Nuts

    – A cup full of nuts should b eaten everyday as it helps to keep your skin supple and avoid wrinkles as they are rich in vitamin E.

  • Sun screen

    – Sunscreen should be applied daily before going out in the sun. The UV rays of the sun decreases the collagen in the skin and also make it dull. To prevent skin dryness, a good quality of skin moisturizer should also be applied and to make it appear healthy.

  • Avoid Smoking

    – Smoking leads to wrinkling of the skin around mouth and also make the overall skin to look leathery. Thus, smoking should be avoided.

  • Get Enough Sleep

    – A good sleep is always the best method to avoid skin wrinkles. It helps make up for the damage done to the skin throughout the day by many factors such as pollution, stress ans sun rays. Hence, it becomes very important for a person to sleep eight hours a day.

  • Reduce Stress

    – Stressed period can lead to dull and lifeless skin. These stressed conditions can be caused due to continuous unhappiness and work overload. Hence, it is necessary to avoid these conditions to achieve a wrinkle free great skin. To avoid these, listen to music, meet friends and practice meditation.
