  • Anti-aging is the in word in the social circles today. Huge companies manufacture and market these anti-aging products seriously. However we all know that all these marketed products are for those who can afford the time and money that is required to maintain their skin. But if carefully thought of, there is one thing that helps our body look its age, food. Good food is provided only by a balanced diet.
  • A balanced diet provides all the necessary requirements of the body that include vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, fibre. Though each of these add to the health of the body “protein” plays a very important role in the entire growth of the body. As each body part develops, the skin too grows protecting the inside of the body.
  • If for some reason the protein provided to the body becomes lesser, the body tends to degenerate rapidly making the skin sag and look older day by day.
  • Carbohydrates provide energy to the body. This is as simple as that. When the energy levels decrease fats provides some of the energy required. As the stored fat is being utilized the skin in the region from where the fat is utilized (generally entire body) doesn’t shrink and instead remains the same, thus causing wrinkles.
  • Minerals and vitamins are as important to the body health as much as to the health of your skin and hair.

Hence it is imperative that a balanced diet is the key in keeping good health and also good looks. Though anti-aging products look to cure only the skin on your body, a balanced diet cures the remedies of your entire body. So choose your diet wisely.
