Wrinkles on a face are the proofs of growing age and loosing strength. As people do not like old age, nobody really likes to see wrinkles on his/her face. The wrinkles, lines and folds in the face are not really wrinkles and lines. These are the supportive muscles in the face that have gone soft losing firmness, and not supporting the skin any more. According to some experts face muscles do not respond to exercises like body muscles by growing bigger or becoming ore toned. If this was the case our faces would have been huge and plump just from our habit of talking and smiling.

According to them facial exercises, on the other hand, may lead to the formation of additional and deeper wrinkles, since making the same expressions time and again can have this effect.

According to some, facial expressions are helpful in preventing wrinkles; whereas according to others they may pose a threat of deeper wrinkles.
